Sorrento, Italy

Sorrento: When we were in possession of our luggage again we headed to the magical shores of Sorrento. A short-cut by ferry had us there in less than 40 minutes. Perched atop cliffs that separate the town from its busy marinas, its known for sweeping views and Piazza tasso, a cafe-lined square. From the port this place looked like a town of narrow alleys and chalky pink buildings inhabited only by princesses.

Seduced by photos found online of pristine thick sands and azure blue waters, and in search of a picture perfect setting for our second editorial of the trip, our initial exploration stopped no further than the port we arrived at. Here we found a tiny beach cove gloriously overgrown in greenery. A Lola Varma dream.
