How to order?

Lola Varma is established as an online label.  We have put a great deal of thought into this collection and have created each piece with the capability of being altered to suit your needs.  We have confidently made each collection with an easy to fit approach, comprised of mix and match two-pieces and minimal gowns that reject unnecessary discomfort associated with traditional wedding gowns and conventional wedding shopping.  

If you are wanting to order online, we have a great system in place to make you feel as confident and comfortable as possible. 

Please send us your measurements as outlined on the size chart (see our sizing chart  here ) and let us know your favourite pieces. Using your measurements we will determine the best size for you and build an outfit for your distinct style.



Book a fitting?

If you would like to try on our gowns you will need to book a fitting at our Lola Varma showrooms located in Perth and Melbourne.  One of the Lola Varma designers or stylists will assist you for the duration of one hour to help you find your perfect outfit.  

Only one fitting is needed to commence your order.

Please note retailers carry limited samples pieces and sizes. 



What sizes Do we offer?

Lola Varma offers made to order garments available in Australian sizes 6 - 16. This sizing is custom to our label so please refer to our sizing chart before purchase.  

In-between sizes? If you are in-between sizes please choose keeping in mind it is always easier to have the waist taken in as opposed to making it bigger. 

Unsure of your size? If you are still unsure of your dress size and feel your shape sits outside the standard then please email us your concerns to stylist@lolavarma.com

We understand there could be concerns with making a big decision like this purchase, for brides that don't have access to the Lola Varma studio in Perth, we have a great system in place for brides to converse with us directly about any sizing or styling concerns.

We will make the dress as close to your current size as possible, either based on the sample that you try on in store or using your body measurements.  Some dresses may require alterations to define your desired fit. We have recommended tailors who we can put you in touch with.

Please know we recommend brides to leave at least 5 weeks for delivery and alterations.



As we are a ready-to-wear label we do not offer customised pieces or alterations to garments.  We do offer different skirt lengths and gown lengths, these lengths are available in Standard and Tall.  Please refer to our size chart to decipher which size and length you require.  Keep in mind the skirts and gowns can always be altered accordingly after purchase and is best to choose a longer length and bigger size if you are unsure.   Some gowns can be made extra tall on request- please contact us directly for this. 



Ordering Time?

Garments purchased online or in-person require five months for construction. Please factor in time for shipping and any alterations you many need.

All our garments are made-to-order.  Which means we construct each garment upon your request in any size AUS 6 through to 16. 


Rush orders?

If your wedding date is sooner than five months we can organise a rush order for an extra fee. For further assistance on this please email us with your queries stylist@lolavarma.com


Payment & delivery time?

To begin construction of your garments, we require payment of the full amount. When you place your order we will ask for your wedding date and delivery details. We work on a timeframe based on your wedding date and ask you to order well advance of your wedding day.  If you wedding is sooner than the five months we can organise a rush order. 


Design process?

All Lola Varma garments are made-to-order.  Our pieces are designed, cut and constructed in Perth, Australia, by our experienced design team. We have complete control over the production of your dress and we see each piece undergo a meticulous process to ensure perfect quality.



Lola Varma ships Australia wide (2-10 business days)

We use Australia Post express satchels for all domestic deliveries. All parcels are covered by insurance and require signature on delivery. Domestic shipping is a flat price of $76 and is payable by the customer.  We recommend providing a daytime address where someone will be available to sign between 9am-6pm, Monday-Friday.  For queries or special requests please email us.  You will receive an email with your tracking number once we have shipped the garment.  

Lola Varma ships internationally allow (allow 3-21 business days)

Lola varma will use either door-to-door freight carrier with online tracking, or International Registered Post with online tracking, and can take up to 21 days depending on location. Signature is required on delivery. International shipping is a flat price of $116. Import duties and taxes will be charged in certain countries - if you are unsure if your country charges import duties and taxes you should contact your local customs office.  All duties and taxes are payable by the customer.  We will send you an e-mail with your tracking number once we have shipped the garment.

Customers are responsible for fees associated with orders delivered to the wrong address so please be mindful when entering delivery information.


Customs & Import duty fees?

All international orders may incur customs or an import duty fee.  These charges arise upon delivery of your parcel. These charges vary greatly depending on the country you are ordering from and cannot be predicted. Please contact your local customs office for further information.

Returns and exchanges?

Lola Varma garments are made especially for you, therefore we cannot offer refunds or exchanges. 

If you find you are not happy with your size, please e-mail workshop@lolavarma.com and we will assess if we can offer a solution.  We ask you to order well in advance of (at least 5 weeks) of your wedding date to make time for issues and alterations. 

In the unlikely circumstance of a manufacturing fault, please email workshop@lolavarma.com with images and description of fault, from here we will asses whether an exchange to refund will be issued. In the case of a manufacturing fault we must be contacted within 7 days of your receipt of the item, with the item returned within 14 days (overseas buyers 21 days).
